Self-made Woman

I am currently reading Self-made Man by Norah Vincent, the true story about a female author who goes "undercover" dressed as a man and puts herself in various social situations, fitting in as a man, befriending men, and in general playing the role of a male. It's fascinating, yet can also be painful to stomach. Since I started the book I have noticed all sorts of gender based aspects of life. Here is one that I thought was visually stimulating, the article is from Flavorwire, about sex and the art of Eastern Europe. Makes you want to question gender and how it is defined.
