Yesterday, Hello Artists was in our office showing off some portfolios and I fell in love with Holly Andres work. Her photos to be compelling, uncomfortable, and yet strangely close to home. My favorite, perhaps because I also grew up in a less urban environment than NYC, is her series called Stories from a Short Street, based loosely on her childhood in Montana with 10 siblings.
