I spent Memorial Weekend in Oklahoma City, filled with rainbows and cumulus clouds. While in town, I went to the Paseo Arts Festival (see pictures) which was much larger than expected. Note my top pick painter Patrick Fallier from Wichita, Kansas (photo is above, blue abstract painting from his booth). Also, Oklahoma resident Sarah Atlee's work was interesting in an Alice in Wonderland sense (Climbing the Wall, Acrylic and mixed media on masonite, 14.5 x 19 inches, 2004, photo above).
