I saw Risto's Fall-Winter 2010/2011 collection yesterday in Chelsea. Risto Bimbiloski described the silhouette as "New New Age." His press synopsis explained that the fabric patterns were "imagined landscapes, 'painted' in basic computer pixels, a collection that mixes the natural with the synthetic, the esoteric with the scientific, folk with electronic engineering." The fabric textures did resemble a metallic luster similar to a CD/DVD's shine, with many of the pieces having far more interesting patterns and details from the back view than the front.
