Vogue.com Gets a Face-lift!

Vogue.com’s new face-lift (get the pun? ha!) launched yesterday and I have to say that as a previous interactive designer for Vogue, it is phenomenal. Designed by New York’s interactive studio Code and Theory, the interface loads fluidly and is easier and visually smoother to navigate. Not to mention, everything you have always wanted to see bigger... IS BIGGER. I am really in love with the party page and how they use a photo-developed negative sort of styling to display party shots. And, they’re larger, but not too large, and flow seamlessly together. It’s really fun to poke around in, and aside from the enormous advertising spots that are hard to not accidentally scroll over, it’s filled with new features and beautifully laid out, easy-to-use search engines and runway shows. Perfect timing for NY Fashion week, eh?
