(Imagesby keri Smith for Global Green USA) Social Designer is an interesting site I just came across, that functions to encourage designers to be socially conscious. I like that this site gives plea for human consideration, and their profits benefit the "greater good", but I do wish it wasn't about selling "stuff." (I feel like the world is already filled with too many T-shirts, drink coasters, products that don't do much but pile up on your desk.) Anyway, I suppose if the message designed on the shirt was that moving, maybe it could spark a bit of change? Still a site worth looking into, with some cool contests that could spark creativity in the general direction of awareness and action.
