I had the amazing opportunity last Sunday to attend the Tony Awards dress rehearsal at Radio City Music Hall. It was a phenomenal experience, filled with live performances and about a ga-zillon (technical term) celebrity sightings (worth noting – THE GLEE CAST and Paula Abdul!). The morning also refreshed my memory that I work ONE BLOCK from Time’s Square and should take in more than a show or two and support the great body of talent that is NYC theatre. Also, that it IS, in fact, worth dealing with sidewalk stopping swarms of annoying tourists to embrace the theatre for a night and experience a different kind of art.
